Hello, Jersey History Hunter aka- JHH and we have a passion for saving history!

  New Jersey History Hunter- Saving history one dig at a time. Metal detectorists of New Jersey, USA Researching the east coast, we focus on the locating and recovering relics and other items throughout central NJ and all of the east coast. Over the last several years, recovering historical items has become a passion that we have always wanted to share. We like to share the fun of Metal detecting, bottle hunting, relic digging and saving any history we can! Enjoying every minute along the way from research to cleaning and displaying our finds to all the awesome people we meet. We have made several friends within this community and definitely appreciate them all. The friendships made are the best part of it all!

  We have been in the hobby for over 30 years including belonging to our local archaeological group and more. Our Youtube channel is a new adventure we hope you enjoy. 

  We have a few items in Monmouth Battle Field museum, We work with the Howell Historic Society detecting their properties for them and give them all the finds, I also teach the Girl Scouts of central and southern NJ having the first ever Metal Detecting 101 class and event's for them, we also have our own events with our fundraising group- Dig It Dude. Our recent event we worked with the Monmouth Conservation Society recently and raised over $12k for them with a 2 day event at A Revolutionary War Encampment. All our events proceeds go towards the Society or foundation that supplies the properties for us to hold our events or detect for them. I have also worked with NJ Archaeology groups including digs on historic parks recovering historic items and more.

  Saving history and teaching kids the importance while making it a fun hobby for them is my passion

We post our adventure videos on our Youtube page weekly as well as have outings with fellow detectors, have giveaways and history walks and more! Teach Host the first ever Metal Detecting class with the Girl Scouts of Central NJ. Host of Dig it Dude the Gathering- Dig it Dude, the Gathering. along with Dawn and Shelli- Can You Dig it and Bobby- Underground Buddha. The answer is New Jersey!   We are also always looking for new adventures. Do you have old property? Do you wonder what history is deep in the earth below your feet? Contact us! We can search for free! Many items we save are given to the homeowners or local history society or museums

Some of our finds include Native American artifacts, Revolutionary war relics, Civil War, Colonial, Musket balls, Spanish Real coins, 1700's and 1800's coins, WWII Medals, Jersey Coppers, Buttons, Old toys, Jewelry, Relics from early American Colonists and much much more

The best part of it all is the amazing friendships we have made in this awesome community.

We love group digs with friends and also Events. We also love to Share the Love and support each other in the Community! We livestream on Youtube every Tuesday night at 7pm est. Our show is called JHH Share the Love. Each week we have Live Chat, fun, giveaways, share photos of finds people send in, and more. We occasionally have special guests as well.
